Returns & Refunds Policy – Second Muster

At The Second Muster, we sell high-quality, second-hand country clothing and accessories. As each item is pre-loved, we aim to describe condition and measurements accurately so you can buy with confidence.
This policy explains your rights and options under Australian Consumer Law (ACL) and our store policies.
Change of Mind
Because our items are second-hand and often one-of-a-kind:

We do not offer refunds, exchanges, or store credit for change of mind, including incorrect sizing or style.

Please check descriptions and measurements carefully before purchasing.
Faulty, Damaged, or Misrepresented Items
Under Australian Consumer Law, you are entitled to a remedy if:

The item is faulty,

It is not as described, or
-
It is unfit for its intended purpose.
If you believe your item qualifies:

Contact us within 7 days of receiving your item at info@nuwalla.com.au

Your order number

A description of the issue

Clear photos of the item and any faults

We’ll assess your claim and may request the item be returned. If approved, you may receive:

A refund,
-
A replacement (where possible), or
-
A store credit, depending on the situation.
Returns Process
If a return is approved:

We will provide return instructions and may cover return postage where appropriate.

Items must be returned in the same condition as received, with tags (if applicable) still attached.
What is NOT Considered a Fault
Please note that minor imperfections due to wear (such as faded fabric, small marks, or loose threads) are normal with second-hand goods and do not qualify as faults under this policy unless otherwise stated.
